Lake Palestine is an East Texas masterpiece, located 20 minutes from Tyler and about 90 minutes from Dallas. It's comprised of 25,000 acres and 135 miles of shoreline, making it one of Northeast Texas' largest lakes. The surrounding landscape is uniquely East Texas. With its rolling hills, tall pines, and hardwoods, the area is equally beautiful on and off the water.

Waterskiing, jet skiing, and pleasure boating are very popular, as is fishing. In fact, fishing enthusiasts participate in several largemouth bass tournaments held throughout the year. It’s also great for catching catfish, crappie, white, and hybrid striped bass.

Lake Palestine has not been subject to extreme variations in lake levels that other Texas lakes have experienced. Level variations remain small, making the lake enjoyable year-round even with unpredictable weather conditions.

Brown’s Landing is located on the west side of Lake Palestine on the largest part of the lake, with almost 1 1/2 miles of lakefront property. Here residents have easy access to all the activities the lake has to offer.
